Prior to joining WMU, she served as the Director of the International Labour Standards Department of the International Labour Office (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr Doumia-Henry holds a Master of Law from the University of the West Indies and a Doctorate degree in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, University of Geneva. The Rector of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), Dr. Yucel Ogurlu and the President of the Foundation for Education Development Sarajevo (SEDEF), Mr. Hasan Topaloglu, received the "Entrepreneur of the Year in the field of Higher Education for 2014-2015" award for the category - regional recognition of the Western Balkans from the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the second time that the European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina awarded the IUS with a prize, as it received the "European University and Employer of the Year" award in 2014. More

It is a multifaceted language and cultural immersion programme that teaches all levels of Arabic, so it is an ideal programme for anyone who is interested in teaching and studying Arabic language, culture, and heritage. It provides participants with an introduction to the history and culture of the Arab world and Saudi Arabia in particular. This residential immersion programme is open to students from all around the world regardless of nationality or culture.
